Each program provides ongoing support and education in the use of these innovative materials and methods. At least 1 in 5 students nationwide uses curriculum materials from The Lawrence Hall of Science in their school careers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group right-group\"><div          <p class=\"event-description\">Amplify Science is research-driven, digitally enhanced core curriculum for Grades K-8 that comprehensively addresses the vision described in the NRC Framework for K-12 Science Education, including the three dimensions of the Next Generation Science Standards. Students inhabit the role of scientists and engineers throughout each unit. FOSS has evolved from a philosophy of teaching and learning that has guided the development of successful active-learning science curricula for more than 40 years. Issue-oriented science forms the core of SEPUP&#8217;s curriculum materials. Every unit uses personal and societal issues to provide thematic continuity for student investigations and observations. SEPUP is part of UC Berkeley&#8217;s Lawrence Hall of Science.
