Key responsibilities/duties of the position; Required skills/qualifications:
Must be willing to join union (local 183) and pay the initiation fee and dues as required, as well as complete all mandatory safety training as required.
Experience 3 years to less than 5 years
Own Tools/Equipment (we can help you secure the below if you are hired)
Hand Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggle, Safety vest, including but not limited to: tile cutter to cut 24”x24” porcelain tile, Hand grinder, extension cords & task lighting, levels, measuring tape, all required trade specific trowels & hand tools.

Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel, Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base, Align and straighten tiles, Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs, Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite, Install tile strips
Work Setting Residential
This is a Community Economic Development position through Revitalization and is open to TCHC tenants. While all tenants are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to TCHC tenants of the Lawrence Heights and Neptune communities. Please note, tenancy will be verified.
